The digital revolution has made music more accessible to us than ever before. Due to the conveniently available musical variety, but also because of the impressive sound quality of high-resolution digital music files, many audiophiles today use their computer or laptop as their primary audio source. The Copland DAC215 processes digital audio data with extremely high resolution – playback quality is limited only by the music files themselves.

The Copland DAC215 can be used as a D/A converter with preamplifier functionality or as a pure D/A converter.

With the integrated Class A headphone amplifier, even the most high-caliber headphones will perform at their best. Your favorite music can thus be enjoyed in complete privacy.

In addition to vault-like construction in an attractive Nordic design, which Copland cultivates like almost no other manufacturer, the Danes place particular importance on designing devices for extreme longevity. For this reason, only easily available, high-quality tube types are used. The supply of spare parts is thus secured for many years to come.

• 32-bit Sabre Reference ES9018 D/A converter
• Asynchronous USB transmission up to 24-bit/192 kHz for music playback from a computer
• Three S/PDIF digital inputs: 1x coaxial and 2x optical
• One USB input for connecting a computer to the hi-fi system. DSD playback up to DSD128 from a computer via the USB input
• One line-level input for connecting, for example, a phono preamplifier to operate a turntable
• One preamplifier output with volume control (amplifier output) for connecting power amplifiers
• One line-level output without volume control (DAC output) for connecting to a preamplifier or integrated amplifier
• Bypass for the preamplifier function and volume control. The Copland DAC 215 then acts as a pure D/A converter
