Cayin CS-100A/KT88 Tube Integrated Amplifier

Our powerhouse: The Cayin CS-100A equipped with KT88 output tubes. This allows it to reach 80 watts per channel in Class AB Ultra-Linear mode and 2 x 45 watts in Triode mode—a robust performance for a tube integrated amplifier. In addition to the KT88 power tubes, 6SN7 tubes are used for voltage amplification, and 12AU7EH tubes are used for phase inversion and voltage amplification. The output tubes are driven by a 12BH7EH driver stage. No compromises were made with the remaining components either. The remote-controlled volume potentiometer is from Alps, the capacitors are optimized for audio applications, and the film resistors have the tightest tolerances. This is complemented by a high-quality toroidal transformer in the power supply.

Cayin CS-100A/EL34 Tube Integrated Amplifier

The use of EL34 tubes in the output stage makes the Cayin CS-100A tube integrated amplifier more affordable without significantly compromising power output compared to the KT88 version. This gives you one of the most powerful amps of its kind at a particularly accessible price. Apart from the eight EL34 tubes in the output stage, everything else remains the same. The 6SN7, 12AU7EH, and 12BH7EH tubes provide the support. High-quality Alps potentiometers, film resistors, ceramic sockets, special audio capacitors, and a heavy toroidal transformer, along with a system remote control, round out the equipment.

At its terminals (4 and 8-ohm taps provided), the Cayin CS-100A/EL34 delivers 75 watts per channel in Class AB Ultra-Linear mode and 40 watts per channel in Triode mode. And if you ever decide to upgrade the amplifier to KT88, the external bias adjustment with level display will assist you.
