This integrated amplifier underscores its exceptional quality standards with a surface finished in six coats of hand-applied lacquer, offering a captivating aesthetic and deep luster. However, it is precisely the technology that makes the CS-150A something special. Selected Tung-Sol 6SN7GTB tubes are used for the input and driver stages. Four Tung-Sol KT150 or, optionally, four KT170 tubes are used as high-performance output tubes. Voltage rectification is performed by an RCA 22DE4 NOS tube.

Three switches allow for sound tuning to your individual taste or for adaptation to your speakers. This includes switching between triode and ultralinear operation. You have the choice between delicate, detailed harmonies and a fluid, holographic reproduction, which is ideal for vocals and string instruments. Alternatively, you can increase power and dynamics with controlled bass reproduction in ultralinear mode. The output power is a solid 2 x 55 watts RMS in triode mode and rises to a remarkable 2 x 100 watts in ultralinear mode. That is an extreme power output for a thoroughbred tube amplifier.

That is not all for customization. A variable bias (High/Standard) is also available on the CS-150A: "Bias high" is characterized by round mids and bass, while the "Standard" position offers precise musical structure.

The adjustment options do not end there: you can even select between two levels of negative feedback. This allows for soft, natural reproduction in the "Low" position or tight and controlled in the "High" position.

Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs ensure maximum connectivity.

The broadband output transformers were specially wound for the requirements of the CS-150A and selected in pairs. A powerful toroidal transformer ensures a stable power supply, reduced output impedance, and optimal performance.

The Cayin CS-150A is also distinguished by meticulous point-to-point wiring using high-quality, shielded, silver-plated cables.

The input selection memory function proves to be an added convenience. After switching on, the last selected input is automatically activated. A soft-start circuit ensures optimal protection for the tubes used. Access to the numerous functions of the Cayin CS-150A is provided by the high-quality metal remote control. The Cayin CS-150A is available with a silver or black front.
