Single-Ended 300B vacuum tube integrated amplifier in pure Class A circuit

The Cayin CS-300A tube integrated amplifier is a rarity for discerning connoisseurs. It is based on the sonically unsurpassed 300B output tubes. In a single-ended configuration, these two directly heated triodes are fed by a 6SL7 voltage amplification stage with a subsequent 6SN7 driver stage. Two GZ34 tubes are responsible for channel-separated high-voltage rectification. This arrangement ensures a musically fluid sound with outstanding detail resolution.

With the CS-300A, Cayin aimed to create a particularly musical integrated amplifier that, despite its purist single-ended circuit, achieves 8 watts R.M.S. per channel, which helps high-efficiency loudspeakers achieve an enormously coherent, vivid sound with body and expressiveness.

The Pre-In input offers the option of using the Cayin CS-300A as a pure power amplifier. Various taps for 4, 8, and 16 ohms allow for optimal matching of the loudspeakers used.

An output transformer specially developed for this single-ended amplifier, featuring separate winding taps for the headphone output, makes the CS-300A compatible for use with most high-quality headphones.

Cayin has also ensured consistent performance over long periods of time. For this reason, an integrated measuring instrument is available to the user for precise bias adjustment of the 300B tubes. In addition, there is a two-stage switch on the solid aluminum front panel for individual adjustment of the negative feedback. In the "0 dB" position, the sound is soft and open, with plenty of detail, while at "-3 dB" the reproduction appears clear and sharply defined.

The Cayin CS-300A is handcrafted with the finest point-to-point wiring. A soft-start circuit to protect the amplifier ensures a longer service life for the tubes and sensitive components.

Furthermore, Cayin uses high-voltage fuses to protect the other components in the event of a tube failure. All functions can be controlled with the included remote control in its pleasant-to-hold metal housing.
