In our new single-ended Class A amplifier, two 805A output tubes deliver a powerful 2x 50 watts.

The classic WE6SN7 output triodes are used for the voltage amplification stage of the Cayin CS-805A integrated amplifier. Exquisite 300B tubes work in the driver stage for the 805A output tubes.

Three pairs of line inputs are supplemented by an additional pair of pre-inputs for connecting an external preamplifier. This allows the CS-805A to also be used as a power amplifier or integrated into home cinema systems with AV processors.

The CS-805A features a high-quality headphone output with excellent sound characteristics, capable of driving most headphones with ease. Users can easily adjust the bias of the 805 tubes using the integrated bias meter. A so-called hum balance control also allows the user to optimally balance the 300B tubes from the outside.

The value of negative feedback can be selected between 0 and -3dB on the remote control to adapt the amplifier's sound character to individual listening habits. At 0 dB, the Cayin CS-805A exhibits an open, fluid sound with plenty of detail, while the playback at -3 dB appears smooth, precise, and controlled.

The soft-start circuit and high-voltage delay to protect the amplifier work together to ensure a longer lifespan for the tubes and sensitive components. Easily accessible high-voltage fuses are used to protect the amplifier. In the event of a tube failure, the fuse reacts immediately, protecting the circuit design, which is executed in finest point-to-point wiring. Only high-quality components are used: these include an Alps volume control, porcelain tube sockets, selected capacitors, and carbon film resistors of the highest audio quality. A generously dimensioned toroidal transformer guarantees a stable power supply even with impulse-rich music. The EI output transformers ensure optimal coupling with the speakers used, thanks to their wide bandwidth.

The Cayin CS-805A comes standard with a remote control that stores the device's last operating status after switching it off.
