D-5 LOUDSPEAKER FOR SURROUND AND IMMERSIVE AUDIO
The D-5 is a two-way loudspeaker featuring a midrange driver and a soft-dome tweeter in a square enclosure. The midrange driver and tweeter are mounted in close proximity, which allows for uniform sound radiation and facilitates the integration of the D-5 as a surround speaker.
The second model, the D-5 IC, features an angled, adjustable tweeter. Together with the square enclosure design, this construction allows the sound direction to be aligned with the listening area (e.g., when used as height or overhead speakers for immersive audio, mounted in front of, to the sides of, or behind the listeners).
Both models are also supplied with their own pre-mounted speaker enclosure, so no additional backbox or closed wall cavity is required.
