D-5 LOUDSPEAKERS FOR SURROUND AND IMMERSIVE AUDIO
The D-5 is a two-way loudspeaker with a mid-range driver and a soft-dome tweeter in a square cabinet. The mid-range driver and the tweeter are mounted close together, allowing for uniform sound radiation and facilitating the integration of the D-5 as a surround speaker.
The second model, the D-5 IC, features an angled, adjustable tweeter. Together with the square cabinet design, this construction allows for the sound direction to be aimed at the listening area (e.g., when used as height or overhead speakers for immersive audio, mounted in front of, to the sides of, or behind the listeners).
Both models are also supplied with their own pre-mounted loudspeaker cabinet, so no additional backbox or enclosed wall cavity is required.
