The world's lightest planar magnetic headphone, which impressed both the press and our customers with its sound, has been significantly improved in its version 2.

The driver has been greatly improved based on the insights gained during the development of the Ether 2. The new ear pads now isolate more effectively thanks to their thicker side walls and are also backwards compatible with the 1st generation pads.

Since the ÆON was a popular headphone for home and on the go, the desire for more compactness was often expressed. Dan Clark Audio has fulfilled this wish and developed a sophisticated gimbal folding headband, which ensures that the ÆON disappears into an extremely compact case for transport. Naturally, the extremely low weight of 321 grams remains, which of course has a positive effect, especially during longer listening sessions and when traveling.
