NOIRE X is based on an updated and improved AEON audio driver. The new driver is significantly stiffer than its predecessor, with superior unit-to-unit consistency, reduced distortion, improved reliability, and a smoother frequency response.

Extensive R&D investment was made to optimize other aspects of the NOIRE X planar driver. New manufacturing processes combined with a highly optimized V-Planar edge suspension provide a remarkably smooth frequency response with low distortion throughout the entire audible range, achieving a level of detail previously found primarily in our flagship headphones.
