Incomparable in its segment
The NOIRE XO is special in that it is one of very few headphones that can actually replicate the industry standard of the Harman Target Curve. What does that mean for the listener? First of all, it belongs to the very small group of magnetostatic headphones that can actually produce an absolutely balanced sound signature, with that bass impact otherwise typically associated with closed-back headphones. However, the bass does not affect the spatial differentiation or the transparency of the sound image.

NOIRE XO was developed around our freshly updated and improved NOIRE transducer. The new driver is significantly stiffer than its predecessor and offers superior consistency, reduced distortion, improved reliability, and a smoother frequency response.

Extensive research and development investments were made to optimize other aspects of the NOIRE XO planar driver. New manufacturing processes combined with an optimized V-Planar knurling ensure a remarkably smooth frequency response with low distortion across the entire audible range. A level of detail has been achieved that was previously only found in our top-tier headphones.

Using our state-of-the-art Audio Precision 555B and B&K 5128 measurement systems, we have carefully tuned the new NOIRE XO driver with our patent-pending AMTS and redesigned ear pads to create an experience you will certainly never forget.

Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS)
Perhaps the most important feature of the NOIRE XO is the addition of the critically acclaimed AMTS tuning system, which was previously only found in our flagship Stealth, Expanse, E3, and Corina headphones.

AMTS is a true revolution in acoustics, utilizing advanced metamaterial design concepts to shape the system's frequency response while eliminating high-frequency standing waves responsible for the synthetic-sounding highs found in far too many headphones.
By eliminating these standing waves, NOIRE XO with AMTS delivers remarkably balanced, nuanced, and airy highs, free from fatiguing artifacts that detract from the listening experience.

Self-adjusting headband
Our self-tensioning headband reduces listening fatigue by distributing pressure evenly across your head, ensuring a balanced, barely noticeable fit. The uniform pressure distribution helps to avoid hotspots and pressure points, making the NOIRE XO ideal for hours of intensive listening without the need for readjustment or strain.

Luxurious comfort thanks to improved ear pads
NOIRE XO is equipped with completely new ear pads that ensure an exceptionally comfortable listening experience. By using synthetic Alcantara suede on the contact surface, heat and moisture buildup are reduced, ensuring cool comfort even during longer listening sessions in warmer or more humid environments.

Furthermore, the NOIRE XO ear pads are designed to reduce foam slippage, allowing the pads to have a longer lifespan and perform more consistently. NOIRE XO ear pads are also compatible with our AEON 2 NOIRE, AEON RT Closed, and AEON 2 Closed headphones.

Improved connectivity with versatile cable options
NOIRE XO offers a comprehensive range of cable connections, including combo jacks with 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm, 4-pin XLR, and 4.4 mm Pentaconn connectors. Additional flexibility regarding cable length and connector configuration is offered by our ultra-premium VIVO cables, which are also available in custom lengths.

With these versatile cable options, you can pair your headphones with any amplifier, eliminating the need for expensive third-party cables and allowing you to get the most out of your audio setup.
