The Dynavector ASKA is a high-quality MC (Moving Coil) phono cartridge that provides an uncomplicated entry into the fascinating world of MC cartridges. It utilizes a powerful neodymium magnet in combination with Dynavector’s special softened-magnet technology. This design was developed to reduce unwanted distortion and harsh, intrusive sonic artifacts while simultaneously allowing for high output and clean channel separation.

Another feature of the Dynavector ASKA is the specially treated pure iron magnetic circuit. The magnetic properties are optimized through a controlled annealing process. The result is an expansive and natural soundstage with high resolution and precise spatial imaging.

The ASKA is equipped with an elliptical diamond stylus. This balanced profile allows for the precise tracking of fine musical details while offering easy integration into a variety of turntable and tonearm combinations.

ASKA-H – High Output MC:
With an output voltage of 2.8 mV, the ASKA-H can be operated directly via a classic MM phono input at 47 kΩ. This makes it particularly suitable for vinyl listeners who want to upgrade from an MM cartridge to the sonic characteristics of an MC system without necessarily needing a separate MC phono input or step-up transformer.

ASKA-L – Low Output MC:
The low-output version delivers 0.3 mV and is designed for operation with an MC phono input or a matching step-up transformer (SUT). The ASKA-L version offers an especially authentic experience of the typical characteristics of a classic low-output MC system.

Both versions are manufactured in Japan, hand-assembled, and individually tested. The housing features integrated M2.5 threaded holes, making mounting on a headshell or tonearm particularly simple and convenient.
