The EVO3 Super Nova is the most technologically advanced passive power cleaning system IsoTek has ever developed for source components and preamplifiers. Unlike other power cleaning concepts, the Super Nova not only adapts to the current power draw but also reduces differential and common mode noise to an absolute minimum.

DESIGN

The EVO3 Super Nova is designed for connecting source components such as CD players, music servers, DACs, preamplifiers, phono stages, etc., which typically have a constant power consumption. Each of the eight outlets features its own power cleaning system and is equipped with instantaneous short-circuit protection of over 100,000 Amps (1,840 Joules), providing a total potential of over 800,000 A. This keeps your valuable equipment safely protected from surges and voltage spikes.

The Super Nova operates with a newly developed, sophisticated filter stage that quadruples inductance in a series configuration and drastically increases filter effectiveness when required and at a constant power consumption of 10 Amps.

This in turn provides enormous power reserves at a typical load of 25 to 40 watts. Furthermore, two special high-frequency filters ensure an extremely steep attenuation of potential interference by interconnecting their capacitances.

Finally, the Super Nova's unique technology features an adaptive filter that, through optimal tuning of inductance and resistance, eliminates differential mode noise caused by electrical devices in the circuit.

KERP © (Kirchhoff's Equal Resistance Path) ensures uniform resistance and an identical power supply for all outlets. No outlet receives power before the next, as is common with other products featuring series-connected outlets.

The internal wiring meets the highest standards – high-purity, silver-plated Ohno Continuous Cast solid core copper strands are used, ensuring low resistance and the transmission of high currents. The conductor is first surrounded by a spiral of fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), then protected by an extruded FEP dielectric, forming a virtual air dielectric (FDA). A high-quality IsoTek Premier power cable is included.

The internal wiring of IsoTek products is matched to IsoTek power cables. By maintaining commonalities in construction and material properties, optimal conductivity is guaranteed.
