The mk2 version has been specifically refined, primarily through optimized air damping inside the driver. This controls the movement of the diaphragm more precisely, leading to more depth, control, and structure, particularly in the bass range. At the same time, the overall balance across all frequencies is improved, allowing the headphones to reproduce both powerful lows and clear, clean highs very naturally.

Another key feature is the exceptionally high resolution. The large planar magnetic driver reacts very quickly to signal changes, which allows transients to be reproduced precisely and keeps even the smallest details in the soundscape audible. In combination with the closed-back design, this creates a very defined, focused sound with clear localization of individual instruments.

The build quality is also at the highest level. The housing is made of solid maple wood and is traditionally refined with Japanese Awa indigo dye, giving each unit an individual look. Manufacturing takes place in Japan and is carried out with careful handwork. In addition to the aesthetics, the wooden housing also contributes to the acoustic tuning by minimizing unwanted resonances and supporting a clean, controlled sound.

Wearing comfort has also been improved. New ear pads with a two-layer structure adapt better to the shape of the head and ensure a pleasant feeling even during longer listening sessions. This is complemented by high-quality materials such as protein synthetic leather and a flexible headband, which underscore the premium status of the headphones.
