Inspired by our Italian cultural heritage, the Mediterraneo combines beauty and consummate technical perfection into a unique instrument for musical pleasure. It is an expression of our passion for music and our dedication to vinyl.

The design of the 45mm thick, curved chassis is based on the catenary curve, a highly efficient concept developed by the founders of the Renaissance, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Galileo Galilei.

Crafted from seasoned Italian walnut, the chassis benefits from the qualities of such an exceptional and noble material: remarkable elasticity, strength, and high density. The three-part base is reinforced by a 20mm thick polished acrylic plate and a 3mm thick stainless steel plate to further enhance the wood's excellent damping and stability. The wooden base rests on three large, elegantly shaped, and height-adjustable spikes made of anodized aluminum.
We use eco-friendly protective lacquers for all our walnut turntables.

SUPERIOR SOUND QUALITY

The 45mm thick, ultra-precise platter made of ultra-damped POM is belt-driven and controlled by our proprietary power supply, developed on a quad-core microcontroller and equipped with an additional converter. This allows the 12V synchronous motor to be powered with low vibration and full torque by shaping the AC signal.
The result of this motor control is high dynamics and exceptional resolution of detail. The Mediterraneo features electronic speed change for 33/45 rpm and fine speed adjustment that can be saved.

The Mediterraneo’s bearing housing and spindle are 80mm long and feature the lowest manufacturing tolerances possible today. The platter bearing spindle is made of extremely hard carbon steel, while the bushing is crafted from finely polished brass for optimal rotation.
