The Mediterraneo X condenses Gold Note's past and future. Inspired by the iconic Mediterraneo, this innovative turntable represents a challenge between research and tradition for analog enthusiasts who are not easily satisfied and desire innovative, authentic high-end features. All of the turntable's functions can be controlled via a touchscreen display, allowing for perfect adjustment of speed and motor torque to suit the type of LP and the music being played. The timer function is a new feature. It allows for tracking the cartridge's usage time, thereby monitoring the wear of the stylus. The platter, made of machined aluminum, minimizes vibrations thanks to a composite construction with added POM. With a total weight of 7 kg, it ensures high stability and maximum precision in rotation speed.

SUPERIOR SOUND QUALITY

The chassis consists of three components: a solid aluminum plate (also machined), which is connected to a 3 mm thick stainless steel plate, and the lower base made of solid Italian walnut wood. This follows the catenary curve, the famous shape from the works of Michelangelo and Galilei, which Gold Note applies to its turntables to achieve the maximum structural rigidity possible for its mass and dimensions, enabling the turntable to deliver surprising performance in terms of detail clarity, dynamics, and soundstage.

The three elegant anodized aluminum feet are height-adjustable, and the rear is equipped with high-quality RCA connectors. The Mediterraneo X is supplied with its own phono cable.

The Mediterraneo X is a belt-driven turntable. Power is supplied via a proprietary control system using an audio converter and a quad-core microprocessor, which ensures perfect operation of the 12V synchronous motor without vibrations or speed fluctuations. The external power supply electronically controls the motor and allows for extremely precise adjustment of the 33⅓ rpm and 45 rpm speeds. Furthermore, it is possible to save the set parameters.
