THE QUALITY OF GOLD NOTE PHONO PREAMPS IS NOW AFFORDABLE

The PH-5 is the latest addition to the range of Gold Note phono preamplifiers. It has been designed to deliver the same high quality and excellent performance that have made the PH-10 and PH-1000 famous, at an affordable price and with all the state-of-the-art features that distinguish our products. Equipped with a single RCA input, the preamp can be connected to both MM and MC cartridges and offers a selection of EQ curves (3, each of which can be optimized), as well as LOAD and GAIN settings (from 10Ω to 47kΩ) to guarantee the highest level of flexibility and versatility, making it suitable for any type of analog system.

ANALOG HEART, DIGITAL INTERFACE

The PH-5 is the first Gold Note product to feature a touchscreen interface: all settings are easily accessible and adjustable thanks to the innovative and incomparably user-friendly display, allowing you to select and change all options in real time while your music is playing. The
phono preamp is based on a completely new design where all the electronics are integrated onto a single circuit board, unlike the PH-10, which houses the analog and digital stages on separate boards. The digital interface is combined with a full-featured analog heart: the signal path consists of discrete, high-quality audio components and sealed single switches and is optimized to shorten the distance and minimize potential interference. Every setting selected via the touchscreen is applied to the audio signal by switching the signal path using relays. The PH-5 is characterized by an "analog purity" that delivers superior audio quality and extracts even the finest details from the record.

EVERY RECORD DESERVES ITS OWN EQUALIZATION CURVE

The PH-5 allows you to select the most suitable equalization curve for each record directly on the touch display: RIAA, DECCA LONDON, and AMERICAN COLUMBIA. Thanks to our technology inspired by Georg Neumann (manufacturer of the famous Neumann record-cutting lathes), each curve can be "enhanced" to extend the frequency response up to 50 kHz, further improving the soundstage, dynamics, and resolution whenever needed.

DEDICATED EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY

To maximize the performance of the PH-5, we have also developed a special, external, inductive power supply that allows the phono preamp to reach its full potential and achieve an even higher level of musical realism, three-dimensionality, and precision during music playback.

PH-5 Bravo

The Bravo edition is a special model available in selected markets. This edition was developed to further enhance audio performance through the use of premium components. This model features an upgraded power supply stage that prevents power loss, maximizes power delivery, and simultaneously minimizes distortion.
