Goldring Eroica LX

The Eroica LX is an audiophile moving coil cartridge that features an improved pole piece design with a powerful neodymium rare-earth magnet. This unique construction allows for a shortened magnetic path, which helps to reduce the amount of iron in the system and therefore the weight to just 5.5 g. To keep energy losses to an absolute minimum, the cartridge body, made of ultra-rigid Pocan polyester, can be screwed very tightly to the headshell. The diamond features a Gyger II stylus profile. Due to the low output voltage for a cartridge of this type, an amplifier with a moving coil phono input or an additional phono preamplifier is required for the Eroica LX.
