The world-renowned analogue cartridge specialist Goldring presents the Ethos SE - a special edition of its award-winning Ethos model. As the flagship of the Goldring range of moving-coil cartridges, the Ethos SE combines uncompromising engineering with unique new features to create a cartridge with exceptional sonic characteristics.

Thanks to a multitude of exclusive and carefully engineered upgrades – including pure silver coils, low-reluctance pole shoes, and a black-anodised aluminium body – the Ethos SE sets new standards in terms of detail retrieval, channel separation, and freedom from colouration. Even when compared to cartridges with significantly higher price points, this new special edition cartridge delivers emotional, fascinatingly harmonious musical experiences – which is among Goldring’s core strengths.

New pure silver coils feature fewer windings with higher conductivity, which reduces the effective mass and internal impedance of the cartridge

Lighter, lower-mass cross-armature core improves channel separation and produces a more realistic soundstage

Low-mass Vital line-contact diamond stylus with a large contact area that improves frequency response and minimises distortion and colouration

New low-reluctance pole shoes for an extended frequency range
