The H30A is our reference power amplifier. We have nicknamed it "The Orchestra" because that is exactly what it is. The task of the H30A is to make any music sound as good as possible on all speakers, without breaking a sweat. And we cannot imagine a greater challenge than a large orchestral piece. The H30A is an absolute powerhouse of an amplifier. In mono mode, it delivers a truly astonishing 1100 watts into 8 ohms, and it is absolutely stable even with 1-ohm loads. To achieve this, we have used all our skill and knowledge in amplifier construction and combined it with the best electronics. The H30A power supply uses 2 separate 1000 VA toroidal transformers for fast response and minimized transformer hum. With a power bank of 270,000 μF capacitors, the H30A can handle even the most demanding piece of music at any volume; it always has enough power in reserve. In the output stage, we use 56 pieces of 15A 200W high-speed bipolar transistors with extremely low distortion. With so much power available at all times, things like speaker sensitivity and load fluctuations no longer matter. With the H30A, you can confidently drive any speaker.

However, power is nothing without the corresponding detail. In a large power amplifier like this, the input stage is particularly susceptible to electrical interference that distorts the music signal. One annoying type of distortion is higher-order harmonic distortion. This is a type of distortion that is far removed from the original music frequencies and often makes the amplifier sound harsh and unmusical. In the input stage of the H30A, we eliminate these distortions by using only one pair of FET transistors. These are carefully hand-matched transistors that have exactly the same values and therefore do not produce higher-order distortion. We eliminate other types of distortion with our patented SoundEngine technology. This actively monitors the music signal for interference and corrects distortion using a feed-forward design. The SoundEngine effectively eliminates distortion in real-time while the signal is being amplified. These measures ensure that the H30A sounds very smooth and natural without compromising on detail.

The H30A is designed as a mono power amplifier, but can also be used as a stereo power amplifier. It features balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs as well as a 12V trigger input. For the best possible connection, the H30A has high-quality, gold-plated speaker terminals. When you upgrade from one amplifier to a more powerful one, you usually experience more of everything. More bass, more detail, more engagement – everything is simply more. With the H30A, we have reached a whole new level of difference.
