The RS250A is the legitimate successor to HiFi Rose's successful and award-winning RS250. Just like its predecessor, it is a streaming client with a built-in DAC that can be quickly and easily transformed into a music server by installing a hard drive. A new color option, black, is now finally available, which in our opinion also looks truly great. However, it is not just the fact that this great streamer is now available in silver and black that makes it stand out from its predecessor. There are many upgrades and improvements in detail.

Improvements and upgrades of the RS250A:

More stable clocks: These ensure more precise signal processing and thus better sound quality.
In-house, discrete operational amplifiers: These special amplifiers contribute to an improved sound image.
More current DAC chip: The new DAC chip raises the sound quality to a higher level.
User-friendliness:
Operation via the large touch display remains smooth. The front of the RS250A is almost entirely occupied by a large, easy-to-read, easy-to-use, and high-resolution 8.8-inch touchscreen. In addition, the front features an intelligent volume/mute knob as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Functionality:

As a multimedia network player with an integrated premium DAC, the RS250A offers almost every imaginable streaming function, setting a completely new standard in this price segment.

In summary, the RS250A combines the high-quality components and ease of use of its predecessor with improved technical specifications and a new color option, making it an outstanding choice for audiophiles.
