The RSA720 is an intelligent expansion box for the RS130 and other streamers that support USB mass storage. By utilizing an optical connection, noise that can be caused by vibrations and electromagnetic interference is effectively blocked. This makes it the ideal partner for the HiFi-Rose RS130, which features a USB-SFP port. Up to four USB storage devices or CD/DVD drives can be connected to the RSA720. Thanks to the galvanic isolation provided by the optical transmission path, sound quality is preserved. Large distances between the RSA720 and the RS130 can also be bridged via fiber optic cable, allowing storage and ripping drives to be placed in a remote location, far away from the audio system.

The RSA720 itself features a solid chassis that sits very stably in the rack thanks to the non-slip surface on the bottom. Although its work could be done out of sight, it is visually appealing enough to be proudly displayed in your hi-fi rack.

The operating mode can be switched from SFP (optical) to "USB-B," allowing it to be used with devices that lack an SFP port. A special highlight is the ability to connect a USB DAC. This is recognized by the RS130 as if it were directly connected, making it easy to set up a second playback zone.

In summary, the RSA720 offers the following advantages:

Optical connection:
Minimizes electromagnetic interference and noise.

Versatile connectivity:
Supports up to four USB devices.

Galvanic isolation:
Ensures optimal sound quality.

Flexible placement:
Allows for large distances between the storage unit and the audio system.

Sturdy and attractive design:
