Bernd Ahne is considered a proven specialist regarding the influence of power supply on the sound quality of audio components. After years of working with fuse holders, he logically turned his attention to the residual current circuit breaker (RCCB), which is legally required in modern electrical installations.

RCCBs fulfill an important safety function: they protect against dangerous electric shocks and fire risks by detecting deviations in current flow within microseconds and interrupting the circuit. However, in terms of sound, they represent an unavoidable bottleneck due to their design, as the entire power supply for a hi-fi or TV system must pass through this point.

The Supreme³ RCCB from HiFi-Tuning addresses exactly this, offering an audible sound improvement over conventional RCCBs – without any safety-compromising interventions in the installation.

This is made possible by high-quality construction and carefully selected materials. Pure copper conductors with silver-plated contact surfaces ensure consistently high conductivity, while non-magnetic stainless steel screws counteract potential interference. An additional computer-controlled cryogenic nitrogen treatment further optimizes electrical performance.

With a rated capacity of 63 amperes, the Supreme³ residual current circuit breaker is also suitable for use in the pre-fuse area.
