This is a special version of the Supreme³ designed specifically for use in fuse holders in control cabinets. It uses a black ceramic housing. The fuse wire and end caps are made of a silver-copper alloy. The end caps are additionally plated with 24-karat gold. Bernd Ahne from HiFi-Tuning recommends having a suitable fuse holder installed by your trusted electrician. The sonic improvements are very clearly audible.

Since April 2020, an improved version of this fuse has been shipped. It uses a fuse wire consisting primarily of Grade 1 Cardas copper, which necessitated a new development of the manufacturing process at the supplier. "Rev. 2.0" can be read on the packaging. Sonically even better than the previous version.

The Supreme³ - 10.3 - 38 mm – silver/copper is primarily used as the 16A version.

The term "automatic circuit breaker" (Automatensicherung) is somewhat misleading, as a circuit breaker in a control cabinet does not contain a fuse, but the fuse holder that can also be installed in the control cabinet does.

HiFi-Tuning tests these fuses for safety in accordance with the international safety standard UL248.
