A hi-fi system essentially reproduces nothing more than modulated household electricity. Therefore, this should reach the device as unhindered as possible. The great challenge for power supply cables is extreme current peaks. These are caused by the connected devices through the conversion of alternating current into direct current. These extreme current peaks cause a whole series of undesirable effects, which is why the power cable is of particular importance. The reference AC-2502 power cable is equipped for this demanding task and is designed for connecting high-quality hi-fi and high-end audio systems. In addition to 3.3 times the normative minimum conductor cross-section, its features include shielding that protects the sensitive audiophile components of the chain from the interference fields caused by the current peaks. SAFETY FIRST: Despite all the love for audiophile sound, safety plays a special role in this cable category. For this reason, every AC-2502 undergoes an insulation and high-voltage test in addition to the standard functional test. The result is recorded and each cable receives its individual serial number.
