EVO3 ELITE
IsoTek's EVO3 Elite is a true high-end power cable featuring a unique 7-strand geometry, the purest copper, and high-tech dielectrics for outstanding transmission quality. A double shield with an actively connected copper braid keeps high-frequency and electromagnetic interference at bay. It is the ideal upgrade for source components such as CD players, music servers, DACs, or preamplifiers. The Elite is also a very good choice for small to medium-sized power amplifiers; however, for very large power amplifiers, we recommend the EVO3 Optimum instead.

CONSTRUCTION: The conductors run parallel and are slightly twisted. This established technique has proven to be an effective shield against high-frequency and electromagnetic interference.

A) Conductors: Silver-plated 99.999999% OFC conductors offer an exceptional level of purity with improved conductivity. They are less likely to break or degrade over time. Silver is an excellent conductor and, when combined with high-purity copper, provides impressive electrical properties.

B) Dielectric: The Teflon FEP dielectric (insulation) is chemically inert and has a very low dielectric constant over a wide frequency range. FEP has a very high resistance to stress cracking and a low coefficient of friction, making it an exceptional dielectric. FEP is the first choice for safety in both temperature and electrical insulation.

C) Filler: A cotton filler has been used to give the cable internal strength and reduce microphony. Cotton also possesses excellent dielectric properties.

D) Wrap: A Mylar wrap is used to secure the construction and provide a protective shield before the application of a flexible PVC jacket. The addition of Mylar and cotton forms a buffer with the PVC to maintain the exceptional dielectric properties.

E) Shield: A grounded OFC shield ensures maximum RFI rejection, thus preventing common-mode noise from affecting the live and neutral conductors.

F) Jacket: PVC is used as an outer jacket to ensure a high level of flexibility and mechanical strength.

CONNECTORS: The Elite cable is terminated with IsoTek's audiophile-grade connectors made from 24-karat gold-plated 99.98% copper.
