EVO3 SEQUEL
The EVO3 Sequel power cable, two meters long in its standard version, features a multi-strand geometry that has been further refined compared to the multi-award-winning Premier, as well as an active shield.

CONSTRUCTION: The conductors run in parallel and are slightly twisted. This established technique has proven to be an effective shield against high-frequency and electromagnetic interference.

A) Conductors: Silver-plated 99.9999% oxygen-free and high-purity copper conductors offer excellent conductivity. They are less prone to becoming brittle or fragile over time (compared to solid-core cables). Silver is an excellent conductor and, combined with high-purity copper, provides impressive electrical properties.

B) Dielectric: A Teflon FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) dielectric is chemically inert and possesses a very low dielectric constant across a wide frequency range. FEP features high stress-crack resistance and a low coefficient of friction, making it an ideal material for dielectrics due to both its heat resistance and excellent electrical insulation.

C) Filler: A cotton filler gives the cable greater internal stability and reduces microphony. Cotton also possesses excellent dielectric properties.

D) Wrap: A Mylar wrap separates the inner conductors from the flexible PVC jacket. The combination of paper, cotton, and PVC further improves the dielectric properties.

E) Shield: A grounded OFC shield prevents high-frequency interference and protects against common-mode noise that could affect the live and neutral conductors.

F) Jacket: With a PVC outer jacket, the cable is not only particularly flexible but also mechanically robust.

TERMINATIONS: The Sequel cable is terminated with IsoTek's audiophile-grade connectors, crafted from 24-karat gold-plated 90% copper and 10% zinc.
