Turning One into Two

The JL Audio Fathom IWSv2 in-wall subwoofer systems are based on the same ground-breaking technologies used in the development of JL Audio's standalone powered subwoofers. As a result, they deliver the same remarkable bass performance, with the huge advantage of remaining virtually invisible in the listening room or home theater.

JL Audio also offers the Fathom IWSv2-SYS-113 as a dual system, the Fathom IWSv2-SYS-213 (this item). The set includes two enclosures, each with a 13.5-inch woofer, and a high-power JL Audio SAv2-2 amplifier. The rack-mountable 2,000-watt JL Audio SAv2-2, capable of delivering distortion-free peak power, is programmed individually for each Fathom IWSv2-SYS-213 system.

Dependable as ever, exceptionally high quality

The full suite of Fathom signal processing features is also on board, including the powerful 18-band Digital Automatic Room Optimization (D.A.R.O.) system, as well as high-pass crossover outputs. Everything is accessible via an easy-to-use, menu-driven interface and an LCD display.

The subwoofer enclosures have been extensively engineered for maximum rigidity while maintaining a very shallow profile. A paintable, fine-mesh steel grille, which also serves to dampen vibrations, is included for each enclosure in the system.

Inside the sealed enclosure is a long-excursion 13.5-inch woofer, which JL Audio has developed and manufactured for the Fathom IWS products according to their customary, exacting standards.
