The JL Audio Fathom f112v2 is an outstanding subwoofer solution for medium-sized rooms and is equally well-suited for supporting a dedicated music system or a home theater system. The combination of an ultra-long-throw 12-inch W7 driver and a very powerful switching amplifier gives it a level of performance usually achieved only with much larger subwoofer systems.

Equipped with the same driver and amplifier technology as our flagship Gotham®, the f112v2 offers superb sound quality. Low distortion, excellent dynamic capabilities, and truly shocking low-frequency extension allow you to experience all the tension of the most demanding film material while simultaneously being able to reproduce all the nuance and texture of subtle musical content.

The complete range of signal processing functions is easily accessible on the front of every Fathom. These include a highly flexible low-pass filter, variable phase, switchable polarity, E.L.F. trim, and the powerful Digital Automatic Room Optimization (D.A.R.O.) system. A calibrated microphone for the D.A.R.O. system is included. Input connections are provided via unbalanced RCA jacks or balanced Neutrik® combo XLR/TRS jacks. Also included is an XLR output for connecting a second Fathom® as a slave unit.
