The Kimber Kable Monocle XL belongs to the renowned Summit Series and serves as the bridge between Kimber Kable's legendary TC loudspeaker cables and the exclusive Select Series. Developed for uncompromising high-end systems, the Monocle XL combines state-of-the-art conductor technology with an elaborately optimized braided geometry and the exclusive X38R stabilization core. The result is an exceptionally natural, dynamic, and spatial musical reproduction with a further reduced noise floor, impressive precision, and maximum control – even with long cable runs and power-hungry loudspeakers.

Hybrid technology consisting of TC and VariStrand™ conductors

The Monocle XL combines the sonic advantages of the proven TC and VariStrand™ conductor technologies in a unique hybrid construction. A total of 24 individually braided conductors – twelve TC and twelve VariStrand™ copper conductors – work together around the proprietary X38R stabilization core. This construction significantly reduces the noise floor and enables an exceptionally open, neutral, and musical reproduction with impressive detail resolution.

X38R stabilization core for maximum silence and precision

At the heart of the Monocle XL is the exclusive X38R stabilization core, which effectively minimizes mechanical resonances and electrical influences. In combination with the expanded braided geometry, it improves both mechanical and electrical damping. This results in a deeper soundstage, more precise instrument imaging, and exceptional silence between individual musical signals.

Developed for long cable runs and demanding loudspeakers

The XL version was specially developed for longer cable lengths as well as demanding loudspeakers with complex loads. The larger conductor cross-section and optimized geometry ensure excellent current delivery capability as well as exceptionally controlled bass reproduction. At the same time, the mids and highs benefit from enormous transparency, natural timbres, and an impressive spatial presentation.
