The Kimber Kable PBJ was developed to transmit analog audio signals between source devices and amplifiers with maximum precision and minimal loss. The combination of the legendary Kimber braiding technology, high-purity copper conductors, and high-quality insulation ensures an exceptionally natural, detailed, and spatial music reproduction. Handcrafted in Ogden, Utah (USA), the PBJ has stood for uncompromising quality in the high-end audio sector for decades.

Patented Kimber braiding technology

The characteristic counter-rotating braided conductor design is one of the most important unique selling points of Kimber Kable. Thanks to its special geometry, electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), and inductive influences are effectively reduced. The result is an exceptionally clean signal transmission with high detail resolution, precise spatial imaging, and natural tonal reproduction.

Hyper Pure copper conductors with VariStrand™ technology

Inside are a total of 42 high-purity Kimber Hyper Pure copper conductors organized into six VariStrand™ conductor groups. The fine-wire construction improves conductivity, reduces skin effects, and ensures particularly low-loss signal transmission across the entire frequency range. As a result, voices, instruments, and the finest musical details are reproduced authentically and dynamically.

High-quality Kimber TC insulation

Each conductor is provided with specially developed Kimber TC insulation. The material possesses excellent electrical properties and reduces interactions between the conductor and the insulation. This ensures that even the finest information is preserved and the signal is transmitted with exceptional cleanliness.

Effective suppression of interference

The combination of braiding geometry, conductor construction, and insulation effectively protects the audio signal from:

• Radio frequency interference (RFI)
• Electromagnetic fields (EMI)
• Electrostatic charges
• Conductor and vibration resonances

This keeps music reproduction exceptionally quiet, transparent, and precise, even in demanding high-end systems.

Handcrafted in the USA

Every Kimber Kable PBJ is produced entirely in Ogden, Utah (USA). High-quality materials, meticulous workmanship, and precise final assembly guarantee maximum reliability and consistently constant signal quality.

Durable construction

The high-purity copper and robust workmanship ensure a long service life and permanently high electrical conductivity. After a burn-in period of approximately 200 hours, the cable unfolds its full sonic potential.
