The Kimber Kable TAK-CU was specifically developed to effectively minimize electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference, and hum. The result is an exceptionally quiet background, precise spatial imaging, and an authentic reproduction with high detail accuracy.

Four VariStrand™ copper conductors for musical naturalness

The TAK-CU uses four high-purity VariStrand™ copper conductors that allow for low-loss and extremely precise signal transmission. The VariStrand™ technology combines individual wires of different dimensions, which reduces skin effects and achieves uniform signal guidance. This ensures a balanced sound image with natural warmth, fine resolution, and compelling dynamics.

Patented OCQ/2™ weave geometry with special shielding

The exclusive OCQ/2™ (Orthogonal GyroQuadratic) weave geometry reduces crosstalk as well as electromagnetic and radio frequency interference to a minimum. It is complemented by a specially developed shield that effectively suppresses low-frequency hum in particular. This makes the TAK-CU excellent for use between a turntable and a phono preamplifier.
