As a hybrid version of the Select series, the TAK-HB combines high-purity solid silver conductors for signal transmission with an elaborately constructed copper ground conductor. In combination with the patented OCQ/2™ (Orthogonal GyroQuadratic) braided geometry, air-PTFE insulation, and high-quality full shielding, the cable ensures exceptionally precise, dynamic, and interference-free music reproduction.

The output signal of an MM or MC cartridge is among the most sensitive signals in a hi-fi system. The Kimber Kable TAK-HB was specifically developed to reduce electromagnetic interference, hum, and mechanical disturbances to a minimum. The result is an extremely low noise floor, impressive detail resolution, and an exceptionally realistic soundstage.

Hybrid conductor technology for maximum fidelity

The TAK-HB combines high-purity solid silver conductors for signal transmission with a specially developed copper ground conductor. Silver enables particularly fast and precise signal transmission, while the elaborately constructed copper ground conductor provides highly effective grounding. This creates an exceptionally quiet sound image with high transparency, precise dynamics, and natural musicality.

Patented OCQ/2™ geometry with high-quality shielding

The exclusive OCQ/2™ braided geometry minimizes crosstalk as well as electromagnetic and high-frequency interference. It is complemented by dense full shielding with an additional copper ground braid and air-PTFE insulation, which reduces capacitance and dielectric losses to a minimum. This design ensures exceptionally precise signal transmission while maintaining an extremely low noise level.
