Stabi R is a very compact turntable machined from a solid block of aluminum with an internal (built-in) electronic power supply. It is driven by a DC motor and a patented, non-flexible drive belt.

The platter is a sandwich design consisting of three layers (aluminum – acrylic – aluminum) to minimize vibrations and maximize the damping effect of the platter itself and the LP. The ruby ball minimizes friction and noise within the axial bearing and rests on a special, low-noise composite material. One of the decisive design features of the new Stabi R is an unsurpassed level of versatility and flexibility regarding the installation of multiple tonearms. It is possible to use up to 4 (four!) tonearms around the main platter. Furthermore, a variety of colors and a wood finish are available as options for an additional charge.

Multiple options for tonearm mounting

When mounting three tonearms, the problem is that the headshell of one arm may get too close to another arm, either at rest or in playing position!

Here are some suggestions for using 3-arm mounts for installing 4-point arms

RL - rear left, RR - rear right, FL - front left, FR - front right positions on Stabi R base
