The 12-inch version of the Stogi S + VTA tower

This is a Stogi S 12-inch tonearm with a fully precision-adjustable VTA tower on the standard 9-inch tonearm mounting distance. The Stogi S 12 VTA tonearm shares the main features of the Stogi S & Stogi S 12 and 4Point tonearms, i.e.: a unipivot bearing, a rigid headshell construction, and a unique VTA tower used in the best tonearms.

The entire construction is mounted on a rigid VTA tower, which allows for VTA (vertical tracking angle) adjustment during playback without loss of rigidity, but with a precision of up to 0.01 mm without play and with repeatability.

The tonearm fits standard-sized turntables, so there is no need to replace the turntable to experience the benefits of a longer tonearm and fine VTA adjustments. General description: It is a unipivot bearing design with a unique, rigid, square headshell made from a solid aluminum block and a base made of solid brass, which control all vibrations and facilitate the stability of the tonearm as a whole. All parts of the arm are milled from solid metal blocks to ensure damping and minimize resonances. The polished pivot point is located in an oil bath, which ensures extremely low friction and bearing vibrations. The bearing height is at the LP level for optimal tracking. Silicone damping controls the resonance of the cartridge and also provides stability in the azimuth direction.

Two counterweights allow for easy adjustment of tracking force and azimuth. Fine adjustment of the azimuth is achieved by turning a horizontal screw in the main counterweight, which does not affect other tonearm parameters and makes fine-tuning the azimuth very easy.

The wiring is continuous – from the headshell to the RCA phono connectors. Upon pre-order, the wiring can also be installed for balanced (XLR) connection.
