Welcome to the world of phono preamplifiers

With an excellent price-performance ratio, the term "entry-level model" is completely redefined. The use of high-quality components from selected manufacturers is a matter of course for us. Even the smallest phono preamplifier in the Black Cube series will draw you into the spell of analog playback. Naturally, all components are designed for longevity and reliability.

We source sonically excellent amplifier stages from the manufacturer Burr Brown. High-quality, pulse-resistant film capacitors with tight tolerances are used for the passive RIAA filter network. This allows us to ensure that transients, dynamics, and tonal colors reach the listener unadulterated. We use MKP types for bass coupling between the linear amplifier stages. Furthermore, all electrolytic capacitors are low-ESR versions, and all resistors are low-noise metal film types. We use only switches with gold-plated contacts to toggle gain and impedance.

A convenient multi-talent

Of course, you can operate all common systems on the market, from high-output MM to MC, with the Black Cube Statement. Practical MC impedances can be selected directly. In addition, there is a slot on each channel for the solder-free installation of a custom impedance. If you wish, we would be happy to include resistors with your order to adapt your system to this phono stage – free of charge, of course.

Thanks to its small dimensions, you can set up the Black Cube Statement very close to the turntable. This minimizes potential losses due to cable lengths. Incidentally, Lehmannaudio is always dedicated to the subtleties, not only in the selection of components but throughout the entire manufacturing process: For example, the housing of the audio section is made of non-magnetic material (aluminum) and is mechanically damped in the lid.
