Audiophile all the way

Naturally, we have selected the components for the Decade with the utmost care. The input stages used, for example, ensure an astonishingly low-noise playback. It is no coincidence that they are also found in absolutely high-end mixing consoles and microphone preamplifiers from manufacturers of professional studio electronics. The high-precision, passive RIAA equalization network is located between two linear gain stages and is realized using low-loss, precision MKP capacitors. This allows transients, dynamics, and timbres to reach the music lover completely unadulterated.

In the spirit of your musical enjoyment, we have also developed the PWX II power supply so that you can benefit from even more performance. This power supply, featuring inductors at critical points, provides the Decade with very low-noise DC voltages. Like the Silver Cube, it connects to the audio unit via a shielded cable with Neutrik connectors. Since the PWX II power supply is backward compatible with the PWX power supply, you can also connect the audio sections of the Black Cube series. A second output is provided specifically for this purpose.

Flexibility in focus

Naturally, the Decade can also be perfectly adapted to your needs through numerous settings. You can easily connect even exotic MC cartridges to this outstanding phono stage—the maximum gain of 66 dB is fully sufficient for this. So that even the most unusual MC system can find its matching load, there is an empty slot for a custom impedance. You also have the option to adjust the input capacitances individually. The discrete Class A output stage with high quiescent current ensures an open, fast sound image and can drive longer cables without any problems.

The switches for gain adjustment and a switchable “Soft Bass Rolloff filter” are conveniently operated via toggle switches on the front panel. The functions themselves are controlled inside the housing via high-quality relays.
