From tangled cables to an elegant, smart solution.

As a headphone enthusiast, it has always bothered me: the overall appearance of a high-class Hi-Fi system consisting of exquisite components that thrill with sound is disrupted by headphones lying around. And even when parked on stands, they are surrounded by unsightly tangled cables.

As my gaze once again drifted over the LP covers in the display frames on the wall above my Hi-Fi system, I had an idea:

Why not present premium headphones in a similar way and provide a functional solution for the cable problem at the same time? This would allow multiple headphones to be harmoniously integrated into one's home media environment. The idea of the 'Headphone Gallery' was born!

Night shifts and brainstorming.

As an experienced audio developer, it quickly became clear to me that I would need design support for my product innovation. Various designers submitted drafts, but their design, choice of materials, and manufacturing options leaned more toward industrial design than an exclusive artisan product.

One night shift brought the breakthrough: Based on my core idea, a completely new design with a remarkably premium appeal was created. Without a distracting frame, made from more sophisticated material, with a more flexible wall mount, an improved headphone support, and optimized front panel fastening, it allows an unobstructed view of your premium headphones. In collaboration with a master cabinetmaker and the production manager for acrylic glass processing, the nocturnal design was finally developed into a mature product with technically convincing detail solutions.

To our great joy, 'Headphone Gallery' has already been honored with three 'Plus X Awards' for 'High Quality', 'Design', and 'Functionality'.

'Headphone Gallery by Lehmannaudio' presents high-quality headphones attractively and makes cables disappear elegantly.
