The Phonolith combines an incredibly ambitious phono stage, a top-class preamplifier, and a reference-grade headphone amplifier into a single device. The form factor is unobtrusive, and the audio performance leaves nothing to be desired.

The trend in the hi-fi sector is clear: streaming dominates, yet vinyl is holding its own with rising sales figures for years, newly built pressing plants, and a constantly growing, enthusiastic circle of fans. Other source components are steadily losing importance. At the same time, demands for hardware quality and audio fidelity are rising. Lehmannaudio is addressing this trend with the new Phonolith.

The phono stage in the Phonolith is equipped with extensive setting options for impedance and four different gain settings for connecting practically any cartridge currently on the market. An additional adjustable filter with three selectable corner frequencies can ensure stability in the bass range when necessary.

Along with phono stages, headphone amplifiers are Lehmannaudio’s second domain. Internationally renowned mastering studios and sound engineers—for example, those at the legendary Bauer Studios—have been using Lehmannaudio equipment for many years to reliably assess their own work. The headphone output is at the highest level that Lehmannaudio offers.
Even insensitive headphones perform at their peak thanks to the Phonolith’s adjustable output gain.

The preamplifier output of the Phonolith effortlessly drives long cable runs and can be connected to any active speakers or power amplifiers, such as the Lehmannaudio Stamp.

As an optimal foundation, both the Phonolith audio unit and the PWX II LZ power supply unit stand on the company's own Lehmannaudio 3S device feet, which reliably convert resonances into heat.
