The Lyngdorf CS-1 is a compact, full-range speaker specifically designed for discreet placement in cabinets such as lowboards, sideboards, and TV furniture.
For this purpose, the CS-1 was engineered as a horizontally oriented speaker. The bass reflex port is front-facing, and the tweeter is mounted in a raised and angled position. This specific tweeter placement reduces sound diffraction from edges within the cabinet and also ensures sound radiation toward the listening area.

To create the foundation for the best possible sound quality, we have equipped the
Lyngdorf CS-1 with the same mid-woofer used in our successful two-way speaker, the FR-1. However, the overall construction and sound tuning have been optimized for placement within furniture.
