Impressive bass from a low-profile design

The DW-1 is a high-performance in-wall subwoofer, specifically designed for custom installations requiring the flattest possible subwoofer solution. The rigid and sealed cabinet is very easy to integrate and fits perfectly into 4-inch/10 cm stud walls, while its extended height provides the large internal cabinet volume required for remarkable bass extension. Combined with a very powerful driver, the DW-1 delivers impressive bass performance. The DW-1 can be mounted floor-standing in the wall or custom-mounted in the ceiling and comes with a paintable, magnetically held grille to cover the subwoofer front.

Powerful 10-inch high-excursion woofer

The very limited installation depth of an in-wall subwoofer requires a special high-performance driver. The DW-1 uses a patented high-excursion flat woofer design, specifically developed for Lyngdorf Audio and based on an innovative voice coil/cone geometry and suspension that allows for maximum excursion while maintaining a space-saving construction. A four-layer voice coil, an extremely rigid dual-cone aluminum diaphragm, a very powerful neodymium magnet, and an extremely rigid cast basket ensure impressive bass performance, achieving a high output level and low-frequency reach. The wide-bandwidth design ensures a precise, fast response and enables the most seamless sound integration possible with the main speakers.
