Evo for Evolution... Since the Utopia III was launched in 2008, Focal's technology has continued to evolve. Consequently, the Utopia III Evo incorporates our most recent innovations.

The sound architecture of the Utopia III has been preserved, and both speakers are equipped with Focal’s latest innovations: the NIC (Neutral Inductance Circuit) drive and the TMD suspension to reduce distortion in the midrange, the extremely delicate register—which is crucial as it reveals all of the artist's emotions.

The Maestro Utopia Evo becomes an even more versatile 3-way floorstanding speaker, making installation in the listening room even easier. The bass section is extremely homogeneous, despite maintaining the dynamics and power characteristic of the Maestro. The midrange driver also leaves nothing to be desired thanks to the implementation of Focal's latest technological innovations: it has been further developed across all registers for even greater precision and dynamics.

Like the Grande Utopia EM and the Stella, the Maestro Utopia Evo has been further developed for bi-amping. Experienced music lovers can refine the sound image according to the desired tonality and performance. The best components of their generation have also been used in the EVO series: cables manufactured in France, a denser acoustic damping material inside the bass enclosure, the dual terminal board, and separate crossovers. The new finishes also put the finishing touch on the design with a timeless silhouette.
