High-quality AKM DAC for audiophile sound quality

At the heart of the MD-1 operates the proven AKM AK4493SEQ digital-to-analog converter. It provides an exceptionally detailed, natural, and spacious reproduction with excellent dynamics and minimal distortion – the ideal foundation for audiophile music enjoyment.

Streaming without limits

Access your favorite music directly. The MD-1 supports TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Roon Ready, DLNA/UPnP, as well as vTuner Internet Radio. Additionally, music libraries can be conveniently played back via USB, NAS, or an optionally installed SSD.

Roon Ready & Apple AirPlay 2

As an officially Roon Ready certified network player, the MD-1 integrates seamlessly into existing Roon systems. Thanks to Apple AirPlay 2, you can stream music wirelessly directly from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac in excellent sound quality.

Powerful integrated amplifier with precise volume control

The digitally controlled analog volume regulation works with 256 finely graduated steps and guarantees perfect channel matching as well as highest precision across the entire volume range. An integrated channel balance correction also allows for optimal adjustment to the room and speaker setup.

Extensive connectivity

The MD-1 connects almost any audio source to your HiFi system. Available are HDMI ARC, two coaxial and two optical digital inputs, USB-A and USB-B, balanced XLR as well as RCA inputs including MM phono. Additionally, the amplifier offers an adjustable pre-out and a subwoofer output.

Integrated MM phono preamplifier

Vinyl enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. The high-quality MM phono preamplifier with precise RIAA equalization allows for the direct connection of a turntable and provides a detailed and natural reproduction of your records.

Network via LAN or WLAN

Whether wired or wireless – the MD-1 integrates flexibly into your home network. Gigabit LAN as well as fast dual-band WLAN (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) ensure stable and high-resolution music playback at all times.

Precise signal processing with Dual Femto Clock

The integrated Dual Femto Clock, in combination with FPGA-based jitter management, reduces timing errors to a minimum. The result is exceptionally precise spatial imaging, more transparency, and an audibly increased detail resolution.

Music server with SSD expansion

Via the integrated M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD slot, the MD-1 can be expanded into a powerful music server. Store your Hi-Res collection directly in the device and enjoy fast, silent access to your music library.

CD ripping and local music playback

Connect an external USB CD drive and rip your CDs losslessly as FLAC or WAV files directly to an SSD, USB storage, or NAS. Naturally, CDs can also be played back immediately via the connected drive.

Intuitive operation

The generous color touchscreen, the high-quality remote control, and the convenient MA Remote App for Android and iOS allow for particularly easy and intuitive control of all functions.

High-quality aluminum housing

The massive CNC-milled aluminum housing of the Matrix Audio M-Series offers a low-resonance construction as well as effective shielding against electromagnetic and high-frequency interference. This creates optimal conditions for permanently stable and sonically uncompromising performance.
