The Matrix Audio MD-1P combines a powerful integrated amplifier, a high-quality DAC, and a modern network streamer in one elegant high-end device. With up to 2 × 300 watts at 8 ohms, it provides enormous power reserves and controls even demanding loudspeakers with ease. The modern PWM amplifier technology impresses with high efficiency, low heat generation, and precise, dynamic music reproduction.

Hi-Res streaming up to 24-bit / 768 kHz and DSD512

Experience music in the highest quality. The MD-1P supports high-resolution PCM up to 24-bit / 768 kHz as well as native DSD512, reproducing even the finest details with exceptional clarity and dynamics. At its heart lies a high-quality AKM AK4493SEQ DAC, known for its natural sound characteristics and excellent detail resolution.

Streaming without limits

Access your entire music library with ease. The MD-1P supports TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, UPnP/DLNA, and internet radio via vTuner. Music can also be played directly from USB storage, NAS systems, or an optionally installed M.2 NVMe SSD.

Extensive connectivity for your entire HiFi system

Whether digital or analog sources, the MD-1P integrates effortlessly into any high-end audio system. It features HDMI ARC, USB-A and USB-B, two coaxial and two optical digital inputs, as well as RCA, XLR, and Phono MM inputs. Additionally, the amplifier includes pre-out and subwoofer outputs and offers two switchable speaker pairs for maximum flexibility.

Integrated phono preamplifier for vinyl lovers

Turntables can also be connected directly. The integrated MM phono preamplifier with precise RIAA equalization ensures detailed and authentic playback of your vinyl collection – without the need for an additional phono stage.

Precise volume control for maximum sound quality

The high-quality, digitally controlled analog volume control operates with 256 finely graded steps, guaranteeing perfect channel balance across the entire control range. An additional channel balance adjustment allows for optimal adaptation to speaker placement and room acoustics.

Dual Femto Clock for maximum precision

Two extremely precise Femto Clocks and FPGA-based jitter management ensure exceptionally accurate signal processing. The result is audibly improved spatial imaging, finer detail, and a particularly natural music reproduction.

Music server with SSD storage and CD ripping

The integrated M.2 NVMe SSD slot transforms the MD-1P into a powerful music server upon request. Music can be stored directly on the internal SSD and provided over the network. With an optional USB CD drive, CDs can also be ripped bit-perfectly and conveniently archived.

Convenient operation and modern network features

Control is conveniently handled via the high-resolution color touchscreen, the included remote control, or the MA Remote app for iOS and Android. Thanks to Gigabit LAN and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), the MD-1P can be flexibly and stably integrated into any home network.

High-quality aluminum housing and solid speaker terminals

The precision-milled aluminum housing reliably protects the sensitive electronics from vibrations and electromagnetic interference. Solid, gold-plated speaker terminals made of pure copper ensure a secure, low-loss connection for speaker cables, banana plugs, or spade connectors. Two separate speaker zones can be conveniently switched via remote control.
