Hi-Res audio up to 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD512

The NT-1 supports high-resolution music formats up to PCM 32-bit / 768 kHz as well as native DSD512 (22.58 MHz / Octa-DSD). This ensures that even the finest details, highest dynamics, and an impressive spatiality are transmitted to your DAC with complete fidelity.

Streaming without limits

Access your entire music library with ease. The NT-1 supports TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Roon Ready, UPnP/DLNA, and internet radio via vTuner. In addition, music files can be played directly from USB storage, NAS systems, cloud services, or an optional internal SSD.

Galvanically isolated digital outputs for maximum signal quality

The NT-1 offers all essential digital outputs, including USB-DAC, I²S-LVDS, AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical. The galvanically isolated USB output, in particular, prevents ground loops and electrical interference, ensuring exceptionally clean signal transmission to your external DAC.

Precise clock technology with 10 MHz reference clock input

A high-quality femto-clock with extremely low phase noise ensures maximum timing precision and effectively minimizes jitter. For uncompromising high-end systems, the NT-1 also features a 10 MHz input for connecting external master clocks such as the Matrix Audio SC-1.

Linear low-noise power supply for superior sound quality

A powerful 60-watt toroidal transformer and multiple low-noise voltage regulators power all circuit sections separately. The fully linear power supply creates optimal working conditions for digital signal processing, ensuring an exceptionally quiet background and maximum detail resolution.

Music server with SSD storage and CD ripping

Via the integrated M.2 NVMe SSD slot, the NT-1 can be transformed into a powerful music server. Music files can be stored locally and provided over the network. Additionally, connecting an external USB CD drive allows for bit-perfect ripping and archiving of your CD collection to SSD, USB storage, or NAS.

Flexible network connectivity for audiophile systems

In addition to classic Gigabit LAN, the NT-1 features an SFP port for fiber optic connections. In combination with an audiophile network switch, full galvanic isolation of the network is achieved, effectively reducing electrical interference.

Convenient control and intelligent system integration

The powerful MA Player operating system can be conveniently controlled via the MA Remote app for iOS and Android. Features such as Smart Wake-Up, automatic trigger control, and digital volume control enable seamless integration into modern Hi-Fi systems and increase ease of use in everyday life.

High-quality CNC aluminum chassis

The precision-machined aluminum chassis of the Matrix Audio N-series reliably protects the sensitive electronics from vibrations and electromagnetic interference. The solid construction also ensures an elegant look and optimal mechanical stability.

Perfectly combinable

The Matrix Audio NT-1 harmonizes perfectly with the Matrix Audio ND-1 DAC and the NA-1 headphone and preamplifier. Together, they form a perfectly matched high-end system with outstanding sound quality, maximum flexibility, and state-of-the-art streaming technology. Of course, the NT-1 can also be combined with any other high-quality D/A converter.
