• To achieve the acoustic goals set for the Meze 109 PRO, we focused our research and development on material science, seeking the perfect balance between diaphragm mass and stiffness to maximize the headphone's sonic capabilities.
• Our search led to the development of the 109 series Meze Dual Membrane – a combination of beryllium-coated polymer, cellulose and carbon fiber composite, and a copper-zinc alloy.
• Acoustic design at its finest – the spider-shaped structure and the acoustically transparent grille inside the ear cup expose the driver from both sides, creating the most open soundstage yet.
• The velour pads comfortably enclose the ears and provide an optimal seal to produce a natural sound. Since velour is much softer and more breathable than leather, it also prevents sweating and overheating during longer listening sessions.
• The 109 PRO is all about comfort – from the structural design of the headphone to the choice of materials, every decision was carefully made to ensure the end product meets our highest standards for ergonomics.
• With this in mind, walnut wood, zinc, manganese steel, and vegan leather were combined into a comfortable, lightweight, yet highly robust structure.
