The Meze Audio Elite is a high-end over-ear headphone and is considered one of the flagship models from the Romanian brand Meze Audio. It was developed for discerning listeners seeking maximum sound quality and a natural, detailed reproduction.

The headphones use planar-magnetic drivers, which ensure very precise and fast sound reproduction. This allows details in the music to be clearly brought out without the sound appearing artificial or exaggerated. Particularly striking is the very large, open soundstage, which gives the impression that the music is happening "around the head" rather than inside it.

In terms of sound, the Meze Elite is tuned to be neutral to slightly warm. Vocals sound natural and present, the highs are finely resolved without becoming sharp, and the bass is controlled and clean, yet not overemphasized. This makes it particularly suitable for acoustic music, classical, jazz, and high-quality studio recordings.

Meze Audio also focuses on premium quality when it comes to design. The headphones are made from high-quality materials such as metal and leather; they are very robustly built and designed for long-lasting comfort. The ear pads are soft and ergonomically shaped, so that even long listening sessions remain comfortable.

Overall, the Meze Elite is clearly aimed at audiophiles and music lovers who are willing to invest in an extremely high-quality listening experience. It is not a typical everyday headphone, but a reference device for uncompromising sound in the high-end sector.
