EMPIRE MONOBLOCKS are half-rack width (8.5 inches) and 2U (3.5 inches) high monoblock power amplifiers, visually and sonically matched to the Empire Streamer to create the best-sounding Mytek electronics ever and to pair with the highest-resolution monitor speakers.

At the heart of the Empire Monoblocks is the newly developed Mytek Ganfet Power Module, a power amplifier stage utilizing the latest range of ultra-fast Gallium Nitride transistors.

Thanks to the wonders of GanFET technology, distortion caused by transistor switching is reduced by orders of magnitude, allowing for very gentle negative feedback and triode-like behavior of the output stage transfer characteristics. The resulting sound has a silky top end and a beautiful midrange with a 3D soundstage and detail, just like the best tubes, yet retains

the tight bass, control, and dynamics of a large solid-state amplifier.
