The original Brooklyn Bridge was highly successful, winning the Stereophile "Product of the Year" and the 2019-2020 EISA Award for its innovative design and superior sound. The Brooklyn Bridge II features the same award-winning preamplifier and DAC circuitry, but now includes a vastly superior 90W linear power supply that gives the sound of this exceptional device wings. It also features a next-generation menu that you can access via smartphones and tablets.

Powerful and always up to date

At its heart, a full-fledged computer system ensures reliable and fast processing of both control and music signals. The Brooklyn Bridge II is equipped with an Intel i5 chip, which, in combination with Mytek OS, allows for smooth operation. Mytek OS is a software platform that is continuously expanded with new features. Software updates are performed in the same way as on any other computer: when you receive a "new software" notification, you can download and update the system. The new software includes new features and bug fixes. In the coming months and years, Mytek plans to add alternative players such as UPnP, Spotify, and Tidal Connect, as well as features like Apple AirPlay. Their availability will be announced as soon as development work begins.

The Brooklyn Bridge II is a complete all-in-one Roon system primarily designed for use with Roon playback software. Furthermore, it offers UPnP and Bluetooth. Using Roon with the BB2 requires a Roon subscription. A free 1-year subscription is included with your purchase. Roon offers a superior playback and browsing experience, especially with metadata (lyrics, credits, just like vinyl album covers) that is not available with other playback software and is preferred by thousands of music lovers. Roon also offers more options, such as advanced playlist management, multi-room playback, and ARC, which turns your local library into your own private streaming service. Roon can play any format, including DSD256 and 384k PCM, while other software is limited to a maximum of 192k PCM.
