The digital section utilizes the high-resolution PCM5242 differential DAC from Texas Instruments, a design known for its excellent dynamic performance and immunity to clock jitter. This allows the C 3050 to deliver amazing musicality, stunning clarity, and pinpoint imaging for all digital sources.

With the intuitive BluOS Controller app, listeners can access more than 20 popular streaming services, including several that offer lossless and high-resolution audio, such as Amazon Music Ultra HD, Deezer, Qobuz, and Tidal. BluOS supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz and features MQA decoding and rendering capabilities for studio-quality streaming. With the MDC2 BluOS-D, you can also play music from your personal library and thousands of internet radio stations through the C 3050 stereo amplifier.

With the MDC2 BluOS-D installed, the C 3050 LE can be part of a whole-home music system with up to 64 zones, all with independent source and volume control. You can play different music in different zones or group zones and play the same music simultaneously. The two-way architecture of MDC2 allows the BluOS-D module to stream music from any source connected to the C 3050 LE to BluOS-enabled components in other rooms.

The MDC2 BluOS-D supports Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, so you can play music in those services' apps and then transfer playback to the C 3050. Apple AirPlay 2 is also supported, allowing you to stream audio from any app on an iPhone, iPad, or Macintosh computer to the MDC2 BluOS-D. You can also control playback via voice using Amazon Alexa or Apple Siri.

Connect the supplied microphone to the USB port on the MDC2 BluOS-D and follow the instructions in the easy-to-use Dirac Live app. Dirac plays test tones through your speakers, analyzes the results, and then creates correction filters to counteract common acoustic problems like standing waves and unwanted reflections. The results are stunning. When Dirac Live***** is enabled, you will experience significantly improved bass definition, greater tonal accuracy, and more precise imaging. Thanks to the two-way communication of the MDC2, you can enjoy these benefits with all sources connected to the C 3050. You can create up to five Dirac settings for different listening positions or room conditions, for example, with curtains open or closed.

Well Connected

With its numerous digital and analog inputs, the C 3050 can accommodate all your source components. Vinyl fans will appreciate the C 3050’s ultra-low-noise MM phono stage. For movie and TV enjoyment, the C 3050 features an HDMI eARC port for connecting an HDTV, allowing the C 3050 to serve as the hub of a high-performance 2.0 or 2.1-channel home theater system. The C 3050 also features line-level analog, coaxial, and optical digital inputs.

Two pairs of speakers can be connected with Speaker A/B switching, as well as a subwoofer. Thanks to two-way aptX HD Bluetooth connectivity, you can stream audio from a smart device to the C 3050 and from the C 3050 to wireless headphones. The C 3050 also features a dedicated headphone amplifier and Pre-Out/Main-In connections, which allow you to connect a more powerful amplifier and use the C 3050 as a pre-amplifier only. The C 3050 comes with an IR remote control and features custom installation-friendly functions like 12V trigger and IR input.
