Even though the simple front panel of the NAD C328 might suggest otherwise, this elegant, 70 mm slim integrated amplifier is not only extremely powerful thanks to innovative HybridDigital™ technology, but it is also comprehensively equipped. The integrated Bluetooth® module connects wirelessly to any smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth®-enabled device to stream music stored there. In addition, two optical and two coaxial digital inputs are available for connecting a CD player, music server, or TV. Analog fans will appreciate the MM phono input and two stereo RCA connections. The C328 also features a high-quality headphone amplifier, allowing you to enjoy your favorite songs undisturbed in the detailed and dynamic sound quality typical of NAD.

HybridDigital™ – Class D Amplifier

The C328 utilizes innovative HybridDigital™ technology. This is a self-oscillating Class D amplifier that works with active negative feedback. It first converts the analog waveform input signal into a square-wave signal using pulse-width modulation (PWM). The music information is now contained exclusively in the changing pulse width. Since the power transistors only require two switching states—on or off—Hybrid Digital™ Class D amplifiers operate extremely efficiently, unlike Class A and B technology, and achieve a power efficiency of more than 90%.
